Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix)

There is one club in London that everyone needs to experience and that's 'The Box'.

It is like no other place I've been to before...

Entry is strictly connections only...if you don't know how to get in, you won't get in.

Once you're inside you can't be surprised at what and who you will bump into...anything goes.

Set in, what I can only presume is an old theatre, there is a stage at the front of the room and the main bar is at the back with tables in between.

When the clock strikes 1am the show begins...and when I say show, I mean show!

I won't spoil it anymore than that for you but it gets you intrigued right?!

Anyway, I'm writing this post alongside the song 'I Follow Rivers by Lykke Li' as it reminds me of being there!

Joe & the Juice

If I could have any professional then I've always said I would love to visit and write about the new and best places to eat/drink/sleep/party at.

London is an amazing place to do this and I'm constantly finding and being introduced to new discoveries.

My latest to date has been 'Joe & the Juice'.

You can find it on The Kings Road in Chelsea as well as at the top end of Regents Street.

I can proudly say I have visited them both in the space of 48 hours - it is that addictive!

As you can tell by the name it is obviously a juice bar and I'm gradually making my way through the list they offer! 

Not only that, they also make the best sandwich's...'Joe's Club' - true perfection.

I Heart NY 2012

In my short 22 years of life I have never been happier or had a better experience than living and working in     New York.

No surprise right? 

It has now been a year since I begrudgingly packed my bags and left...

I often have little reminisces where I look back over my photos and it brings a small tear to my eye. 

I started this post by planning to share some of these snaps but the process of editing them was too hard!
I made some amazing friends during my time including the very talented photographer Montana Lowery who took the photo above from our first night out in Manhattan at Brass Monkey.

One day I shall return but I can't imagine it being the same...the firsts are always the best!

Sunday Chill

Sometimes you just need to use Sunday as a day to chill, pamper and catch up on the things you've been too busy to do in the week.

Top of my list today was nails. 

Usually I just paint them a nude colour as it's easy to maintain, especially for work.

However, when the sun starts shining I feel the desire for some colour!

Therefor, I've gone for Chanel's Miami Peach.

Matthew Williamson A/W13 Show

So last week was really exciting - London Fashion Week of course! 

Sunday the 17th in particular; this was the day of the Matthew Williamson A/W13 show at The Royal Opera House.

I always get excited when it comes to show time and other than when I was working at DVF, this was one of the most exciting shows I've been involved in. 

The collection - as always - was beautiful, colourful and full of fun.

My photos are mainly of behind the scenes and pre-show snaps as I was trying my best to watch the show and not get carried away with my camera!

Recipe for Recovery

Currently I'm ill in bed and feeling rotten and whenever I feel like this all I picture is this amazing bath in a boutique hotel where I can check myself in, run a bubble bath and order room service.

I'm not sure about you, but I'm pretty sure this is the recipe to recovery!

In the meantime, while I wait for this fantasy to come true, I will stick to my bed with a box of tissues and comfort films such as A Good Year.

I hope no-one else is feeling as poorly as I do!
